Apple has officially released iOS 6 at 2012 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and declared that there are over 200 new features. At present, Beta version has been coming into season. And the public version will be released in autumn. iOS 6 will supports the iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G. This conference gives a detailed explanation of updating as below:

Siri
Siri will feature hands-free function. For example, with the aid of Siri start-up button set in steering wheel, you don’t bother to hold the phone to talk to Siri while driving car. Besides, Siri has integrated a series of data base including sports events scoring, personal details of sports star, plenty of restaurant details. By talking to Siri, you can get to know something about football, restaurant and height of sports star etc.

Application of Newly and Self-owned 3D Map
iOS 6 has adopted its own map application instead of Google map. With this map in favor of 3D and real-time voice navigation, you can search anonymous real-time traffic, 3D map with a birds-eye view as well as the details of one million businessmen. In addition, the new map program supports Siri.

Integration with Facebook
The integration of iOS 6 and Facebook facilitates the users to share various kinds of things and send social massages in notification center.

To some extent, a few service providers are on the edge of losing their jobs. As for Apple Inc, it can be regarded as a double-edged sword. In fact, the monopolization of Apple Inc into iOS ecosystem entails advantages and disadvantages aiming at different providers. In other words, those service providers who are linked to Apple Inc have dominant advantages, while the rest of service providers maybe feel discontented, thus developing other platforms. Regarding to this respect, there is no benefit for current iOS 6 which still involves strong competition.
